How to Make Your Own DIY Clay Waffles

Please gather:

  • Bowl
  • Spoon or Spatula
  • Measuring Spoon (1 teaspoon!)

Step 1: Make your activator.

Step 2: Grab all your provided and gathered materials.

Step 3: Empty bottle of clear glue into your empty bowl.

Step 4: Add 2 drops of glycerin.

Step 5: (Optional) Add 2-3 drops of Cinnamon Berry Waffle Syrup scent.

Step 6: Add 2-3 drops of brown colorant.

Step 7: Stir together!

Step 8: Add 1 teaspoon of activator.

Step 9: Mix THOROUGHLY!

Step 10: Add another teaspoon of activator, mix again! At this point, the slime may look stringy and/or clumpy, that's okay! Trust the process and keep stirring as vigorously as possible. It may feel like it takes a while to fully incorporate, just stick with it!

Step 11: Add a third teaspoon of activator, mix thoroughly.

Step 12: Use 1 finger to test the slime and see if it is sticky.

Step 13: If it sticks to you, add another 1/2 teaspoon of activator.

Step 14: Mix again.

Step 15: Continue adding until the slime is no longer sticky. This is your BASE slime.

Step 16: Take 3/4 of the container of clay and make a ball.

Step 17: Smush it with the lid of the container so it is about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 18: Use the bottom of the bread charm to smush even squares into the clay.

Step 19: Once you’ve done this, you can smush the waffle into the slime, OR drizzle the “maple syrup” slime on top and decorate before smushing. Sprinkle on your add-ons, or don’t, it’s your waffle!

Enjoy!
