ART CLASS SPLATTER PAINT BUTTER SLIME!

HOW TO MAKE ACTIVATOR

Make your activator:

Add 1 tsp of borax powder(provided) to 1 measured cup of HOT or BOILING water. Stir until dissolved.

HOW TO MAKE BUTTER SLIME!

Please gather:

  • Bowl
  • Spoon or Spatula
  • Measuring Spoon(1 teaspoon!)
  • Lotion(any kind!)

Step 1: Grab all your provided and gathered materials

Step 2: Empty bottle of school glue into your empty bowl.< /p>

Step 3: Add 2 squirts of lotion.

Step 4: (Optional) Add 2 - 3 drops of scent.

Step 5: Stir together

Step 6: Add 1 teaspoon of activator

Step 7: Mix THOROUGHLY

Step 8: Add another teaspoon of activator, mix again! At this point, the slime may look stringy and/or clumpy, that 's okay! Trust the process and keep stirring as vigorously as possible. It may feel like it takes a while to fully incorporate, just stick with it! 

Step 9: Add a third teaspoon of activator, mix thoroughly.

Step 10: Use 1 finger to test the slime and see if it is sticky

Step 11:   If it sticks to you, add another 1/2 teaspoon of activator.

Step 12: Mix again. Spray activator on your hands if needed!

Step 13: Continue adding until the slime is no longer sticky. This is your BASE slime.

Step 14: Grab your white clay, mix as much as you want of the clay with your newly made BASE slime. Now you have some butter!

Step 15: Next grab a spoon and your jars of pigment. Lightly splatter a little bit of each color around the slime (PLEASE PUT DOWN A NEWSPAPER OR PAPER TOWEL FIRST!!)

Step 16: Once you’ve splattered to the design you like, put it in the jar and snap some photos!

Tip: Always store it in the air-tight container we provided! Keeps it good for as long as you want! (May need some reactivation from time to time, but you’ve got plenty of activator in your spray bottle.)
