September: Geode Explosion

Please Gather:

  • 5 oz. Elmer’s Clear Glue
  • 1 oz. Slime Slip
  • Lemon Lime Fizz Scent
  • Pack of gold bingsu beads
  • 1 oz. jar of magenta bingsu beads
  • Charm Pack
  • Toy Wooden Mallet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon Or Spatula
  • Teaspoon Measuring Spoon
  • Activator bottle
  • Empty 8 oz Jar With Blank Label

Step 1: Grab a mixing bowl, a spoon or spatula, a teaspoon measuring spoon, and the provided activator.

Step 2: Empty the entire bottle of Elmer’s Clear Glue into your empty bowl.

Step 3: (Optional) Add 3-5 drops of scent to your bowl and gently mix it in. Be aware that If you do this, it will make your slime cloudy. Don’t add scent if you’d prefer your slime to be crystal clear!

Step 4: Add 2 Teaspoons of slime slip to your bowl.

Step 5: Mix thoroughly.

Step 6: Add 1 teaspoon of activator and mix thoroughly. You will notice strands and clumps starting to form. Keep mixing for about 30 seconds.

Step 7: While the slime is still really sticky, add the entire pack of Gold Bingsu beads. Gently fold it in until the bingsu is fully incorporated into the slime.

Step 8: Add 2 more teaspoons of activator and mix thoroughly. The slime may get more strands and clumps, but don't get discouraged; we want to break those down by mixing. The more you break them up, the less sticky the slime will be.

Step 9: Add 1 more teaspoon of activator and mix again. At this point you should be able to pick up the slime with your hands and knead. Do this until all the clumps and strands are gone.

Step 10: (Optional) Let the slime sit for a few days to allow the bubbles to rise. This will make the slime clear up, and the bingsu beads will shine through even more! If you added scent to your slime skip this step.

Step 11: Now you have bingsu slime! Time to make your slime geode!

Step 12: Flatten your slime into a flat pancake. Then take your 1 oz jar of magenta bingsu beads and empty it into the center of your slime pancake

Step 13: Fold the sides of the slime pancake up and form it into a large ball. Now you have your slime “Geode”.

Step 14: Break open your “Geode” using your hands or the provided toy mallet and watch the magenta bingsu shine through!

Step 15: Decorate your slime to your heart's content using the charms!

Step 16: Don’t forget to name your slime! Write your Slime’s name on the blank label on the side of your Slime jar.

Step 17: Store your slime in the provided empty 8 oz jar. Always keep your slime in an air-tight container when you’re not playing with it so it can last as long as possible.
