November: Mixed Berry Cheesecake Swirl

Thick & Glossy Slime

Please gather:
  • (2) 4oz Elmer’s Glue-All Bottles
  • Magenta Colorant
  • Mixed Berry Cheese Tart Scent
  • 1oz jar of Lotion
  • Dessert themed charm pack
  • 8oz jar with blank side label
  • Activator Bottles
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon or Spatula
  • Teaspoon measuring spoon
  • DIY Instructions card

Step 1: Grab a mixing bowl, spoon or spatula, a teaspoon measuring spoon, and the provided activator.

Step 2: Empty both bottles of Elmer’s Glue-All into your bowl.

Step 3: (Optional) Add 2-3 drops of scent.

Step 4: Add the entire jar of lotion.

Step 5: Stir everything together until it is evenly combined. Give it a good 30+ seconds of mixing before moving on to the next step.

Step 6: Add 3 teaspoons of activator.

Step 7: Mix THOROUGHLY! Elmer’s Glue-All is extra thick and will take longer to mix. As you mix, it will become very stringy. This means it’s coming together. Keep mixing until most of the small clumps are gone and it is not super stringy. You know you’re doing it right if your arms get sore.

Step 8: Add 1 more teaspoon of activator. Mix extremely well, until the slime becomes one big clump and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

Step 9: Add a few drops of activator to your hands and rub it in. This will help prevent the slime from sticking to your hands.

Step 10: Use your hands to pull the slime out of the bowl. Pull, stretch, and knead the slime in your hands to remove all strings and clumps. It will feel a bit rippy until all activator strands are mixed in. Be patient with it.

Step 11: Now you have Thick & Glossy slime! If it still feels slightly sticky, add a few small drops of activator to the slime and knead it in.

Step 12: Split the slime into 2 equal parts. Place 1 part into your 8oz jar and set it aside for now.

Step 13: Add a few drops of the magenta colorant to the other half of the slime and mix in thoroughly. The more color you add the darker your slime will be. Add as much or as little as you’d like!

Step 14: After mixing in the colorant, your slime may become a little sticky. If this happens add a few more drops of activator to your slime and mix thoroughly until it no longer feels sticky. Add one drop at a time though as it takes a moment to fully blend in.

Step 15: Take both halves of your slime, the magenta part and the white part, press both together and swirl them. The more you swirl, the more the colors will blend together.

Step 16: Place your swirled slime into your 8oz jar. Decorate to your heart’s content with the dessert themed charms!

Step 17: Don’t forget to name your slime! Write your slime’s name on the blank label on the side of your slime jar.

Step 18: Store your slime in the empty 8 oz jar with lid provided. Keep your slime in an airtight container when not in use to ensure that it lasts as long as possible.
