How to Make Frrrozen Hot Chocolate! !
Step 1: Gather a mixing bowl, spoon or spatula, lotion (any type of hand or body lotion is fine!), ½ cup of water, and a teaspoon measuring spoon.
Step 2: Grab your activator bottle (or make it fresh, if you prefer).
Step 3: Empty your whole bottle of school glue into the mixing bowl.
Step 4: Add 2 pumps or a squirt of lotion to the bowl.
Step 5: Add 2-3 drops of the hot chocolate scent. (optional)
Step 6: Mix thoroughly.
Step 7: Add 1st teaspoon of activator and mix vigorously. You will notice strands, clumps, or both start to form. Keep mixing! This is a good sign.
Step 8: Add 2nd teaspoon of activator and mix vigorously. May get more strands and clumps, don't get discouraged, we want to break those down by mixing.
Step 9: Add 3rd teaspoon and mix again. With base slime, this is often your final teaspoon, however with cloud dough it is good to slightly overactivate. Once the slime is no longer sticking to the sides of the bowl and has formed in the center, add 1 additional 1/2 teaspoon to strengthen.
Step 10: Move slime aside out of bowl.
Step 11: Measure out 2 teaspoons of snowonder powder from the green packet (about half) into the empty bowl.
Step 12: Pour 1/2 cup of water into the snow and watch it inflate. It's fun! Play around a bit and enjoy the science of this polymer.
Step 13: Mix the slime into the snow by folding and pressing until ALL the snow is in the slime. If the slime gets a bit sticky, don't worry! This happens, just add more activator 1 teaspoon at a time as needed. Or, simply dip your hands into the activator cup and use your hands to squeeze the slime.
Step 14: At this point, you have cloud créme! If you'd like to add more scent, feel free! Just note that you may need more activator if you do so.
Step 15: Now--ADD CLAY! This is the “dough” part of the cloud dough, and also gives the slime its color. Start with a handful of clay, fully mix in. You can stop there or add a second handful, totally up to you!
Now you get to put it all together!
You can design your drink any way you’d like, but to recreate the traditional drink from Serendipity, add your cloud dough to the cup, swirl up the white cloud for “whipped cream” (it’s in the 3oz container), then top with chocolate shavings!
