June: Sandcastle Surprise

 How to Make Cloud Slime

 Please Gather:

  • 4 oz Elmer’s School Glue
  • Pink Colorant
  • Rainbow Sherbet Scent
  • Empty 8oz Jar With Blank Label
  • SnoWonder Packet
  • Beach Themed Charm Pack
  • Sandcastle Mold
  • Lotion (Any Kind)
  • 2 Mixing Bowls
  • Spoon Or Spatula
  • Teaspoon Measuring Spoon
  • Activator (Video Here)

Step 1: Make your activator (Video Here).

Step 2: Grab a mixing bowl, spoon or spatula, a teaspoon measuring spoon, and the activator you made.

Step 3: Empty the entire bottle of Elmer’s school glue into your empty bowl.

Step 4: (Optional) Add 2-3 drops of the rainbow sherbet scent scent.

Step 5: Add 2-5 drops of the pink colorant. The more you add the darker the color of your slime.

Step 6: Stir together. Give it a good 30+ seconds of mixing before moving on to the next step.

Step 7: Add 1 teaspoon of the dry Snowonder. Mix very thoroughly, for about 1-2 minutes, to ensure the snow is fully mixed and absorbed into the glue.

Step 8: Add 4 teaspoons of lotion.

Step 9: Stir together. Give it a good 30+ (at least) seconds of mixing before moving on to the next step.

Step 10: Add 1 teaspoon of activator.

Step 11: Mix THOROUGHLY! It may take up to a minute to do this properly. It is super important to add the activator in this way, little by little, to achieve the best results.

Step 12: Add 1 more teaspoon of activator.

Step 13: Mix THOROUGHLY! It may take up to a minute to do this properly.

Step 14: Use 1 finger to test the slime and see if it is sticky.

Step 15: If it sticks to you, add another 1/2 teaspoon of activator and mix again! At this point, the slime may look stringy and/or clumpy, that's okay! Trust the process and keep stirring as vigorously as possible. It may feel like it takes a while to fully incorporate, just stick with it!

Step 16: Repeat steps 14-15 until the slime is no longer sticky. Do not add too much activator, otherwise your slime will become hard. You want the slime to be soft and stretchy, but not sticky.

Step 17: Add the rest of the SnoWonder packet into your second mixing bowl.

Step 18: Add 3/4 Cup of water into the bowl. Watch as the snow magically grows and expands!

Step 19: Add some wet snow to your slime bit by bit, making sure to mix in between. Depending on humidity and altitude, you might only need to add a fourth of the remaining packet. Add little by little until you have a snowy, but structured slime.

Step 20: Mix THOROUGHLY! It may take up to a minute or two to do this properly. The snow needs to be fully mixed into the slime to ensure it has the right cloudy texture.

Step 21: Now you have cloud slime!

Step 22: Don’t forget to name your slime!

Step 23: Store your slime in the empty 8 oz jar. Always keep your slime in the air-tight container we provided so it lasts longer.

Step 24: Take the sandcastle mold and press the cloud slime inside to create a slimey sandcastle! Remove the slime from the mold and decorate your sandcastle to your heart's content using the beach themed charms!

        Enjoy!
