December: Swirly Snow Globe

Please gather:
  • (2) 5oz Elmer’s Clear Bottles
  • 1oz Slime Slip
  • Snowflake Vanilla Scent
  • Small Pink Baggie of Snowonder Powder
  • Winter Themed Charm Pack
  • 8oz Jar with Blank Side Label
  • Activator Bottle
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon or Spatula
  • Teaspoon Measuring Spoon
  • DIY Instructions Card

Step 1: Grab a mixing bowl, spoon or spatula, a teaspoon measuring spoon, and the provided activator.

Step 2: Empty one entire bottle of activator into the bowl.

Step 3: Add 1/2 of the Slime Slip into the bowl. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.

Step 4: Empty both bottles of Elmer’s Clear Glue into the bowl with the activator mixture.

Step 5: Using your spoon or spatula, slowly stir the glue in circular motions, making sure you are reaching all edges of the bowl. It is important that you mix slowly, to prevent adding too many air bubbles into your slime. Stir for about 1 minute. Do not stir for longer.

Step 6: You will be using your hands in the next step. Make sure your hands are clean to ensure that your slime will stay as clear as possible.

Step 7: After stirring for 1 minute, remove your spoon or spatula from the bowl, and start kneading the slime with your hands. It may feel sticky, but do not worry, it will become firmer as you knead. Do this slowly to prevent adding air bubbles into your slime. Knead with your hands for about 30 seconds, until the slime is not too liquidy, and most of the clumps/strings are gone. Do not mix for longer than 30 seconds.

Step 8: Place your slime into the provided 8 oz jar, and screw shut using the lid. If you want your slime to become fully transparent, allow it to sit untouched for 2-5 days until it becomes fully clear.

Step 9: If you want your slime to be fully clear, do not proceed to the next step until you’ve allowed it to sit for 2-5 days. If you do not want it to be clear, you can proceed to the next step now.

Step 10: Empty the small pink baggie of Snowonder powder into a bowl. Add 3 teaspoons of warm water to the bowl and mix. Watch as the powder expands into fluffy snow!

Step 11: Open your clear slime jar, and stick your finger down into the center of the slime to create a hole. Add a few drops of the snowflake vanilla scent into the hole you just created, and then fold the slime back over the hole to cover it.

Step 12: Take the winter themed charms and stick them into the slime, upside down.

Step 13: Sprinkle about 1/2 of the fluffy snow on top of your slime.

Step 14: Screw the lid onto your slime jar, and flip the jar upside down.

Step 15: Now you have a slimey snow globe! Keep the slime upside down and admire its beauty, or open it and play with it. It’s up to you!

Step 16: Don’t forget to name your slime! Write your slime’s name on the blank label on the side of your slime jar.

Step 17: Store your slime in the provided empty 8 oz jar. Always keep your slime in an air-tight container when you’re not playing with it so it can last as long as possible.

Enjoy!
xoxo
