February: Sorbet Bouquet Icee Slime
Please gather:
- x1 5oz Elmer’s Clear Glue
- x1 Activator Bottle
- x1 Slime Slip Bottle
- x1 Soft Tuberose Scent Bottle
- x1 Jar of Orange Colorant
- 1 Jar of Pink Colorant
- Sprinkle and Charm Pack
- x1 8oz Empty Jar with Blank Side Label
- 1 Large Mixing Bowl
- 1 Spoon or Spatula
- 1 Teaspoon Measuring Spoon
Step 1: Grab a large mixing bowl, spoon or spatula, a teaspoon measuring spoon, and the provided activator.
Step 2: Empty the whole bottle of Elmer’s clear glue into your empty bowl.
Step 3: Add 2 teaspoons of slime slip into the bowl.
Step 4: (Optional) Add 2-3 drops of the Soft Tuberose scent into the bowl.
Step 5: Stir together until the ingredients are evenly combined.
Step 6: Add 3 teaspoons of activator into the bowl.
Step 7: Mix THOROUGHLY! We do mean thoroughly. Don’t add more until you’ve given it a good minute or two… even three.
Step 8: At this point, the slime may look stringy and/or clumpy, That's okay! Trust the process and keep stirring as vigorously as possible. It may feel like it takes a while to fully incorporate, but just stick with it!
Step 9: Add 2 more teaspoons of activator and then keep on mixing. Thoroughly. This process should exhaust your arms if you’re doing it right. It takes time and patience to conquer the science of slime.
Step 10: At this point the slime should start to pull away from the bowl. Use 1 finger to test the slime and see if it is sticky. If it doesn’t stick to your finger, you can start kneading the slime with your hands. take it out of the bowl to massage it all together. The slime will feel a bit rippy. Keep kneading and stretching. The more you do, the more you incorporate the activator and the more you will achieve the final texture you want to make.
Step 11: Now you have Clear Slime! It may not look perfectly clear right away - that’s due to air bubbles.
Step 12: Remove the slime from the bowl and store it in the 8oz jar to keep it from drying while you complete the next steps. It’s time to turn it into Icee slime!
Step 13: Open the snowonder packet and add all of the snowonder into an empty bowl.
Step 14: Add 1 & 1/2 cups of water to the bowl. Watch as the snow quickly expands! Use your hands to knead the snow to make sure the water is fully absorbed, and is evenly mixed into all the snow. The snow should be one consistent texture. If parts of the snow are dryer/wetter than others, you need to keep kneading.
Step 15: Now it’s time to mix the snow into your clear slime! Add all of your clear slime into the bowl with the snow, and start folding and mixing the snow into the slime. Keep doing this until all of the snow is fully mixed into the slime.
Step 16: After mixing in the snow, the slime will feel a little sticky. Add 2 more teaspoons of activator and mix thoroughly into the slime.
Step 17: Now you have Icee slime! It should be stretchy, soft, and sizzly. If your slime ever feels sticky, add 1/2 teaspoon of activator and knead into the slime. Repeat this until the slime no longer feels sticky.
Step 18: Time to color the slime to create swirls of color!
Step 19: Split your icee slime in half. Add a little bit of the orange colorant to one half, and a little of the pink colorant to the other. Slowly knead each piece of slime until they are both fully colored.
Step 20: Press the two pieces of slime together, and twist and pull them a few times to swirl and blend the colors together.
Step 21: Place the slime back into the jar and admire the swirls of color!
Step 22: Decorate to your heart’s content using the provided charms and sprinkles.
Step 23: Don’t forget to name your slime! Write your slime’s name on the blank white label on the side of your slime jar.
Step 24: Store your slime in the provided empty 8oz jar. Always keep your slime in an air-tight container when you’re not playing with it so it can last as long as possible.
Enjoy!
