December: Winterberry Glacier Snow Fizz Slime
Sizzle into December with our Winterberry Glacier slime, a gorgeous snowfizz that crackles and stretches with pizazz. Here’s how to whip it up…
Please Gather:
Step 2: Empty the entire Elmer’s school glue bottle into your bowl.
Step 3: Add 1/2 teaspoon of lotion.
Step 4: (Optional) Add a few drops of the winterberry scent into the bowl. If you like a strong scent, add a bit more.
Step 5: Stir together.
Step 6: Add 1 teaspoon of activator.
Step 7: Mix thoroughly for about 2 minutes. Your slime will start to clump together. The mixture should remain slightly sticky, making it easier to incorporate the snow fizz powder and ensuring it sticks well into the slime.
Step 8: Slowly add all of your snow fizz powder into the bowl. Mix thoroughly until all of the snow fizz powder is coated in the slime.
Step 9: Use 1 finger to test the slime and see if it is sticky.
Step 10: If it sticks to you, add another 1/2 teaspoon of activator and mix again! The slime may look stringy and/or clumpy. That's okay! Trust the process and keep stirring as vigorously as possible. It may feel like it takes a while to fully incorporate; just stick with it! Repeat this process until your slime no longer feels sticky, but be careful! Don’t add too much activator; otherwise, your slime will become hard. You want the slime to be soft and stretchy but not sticky.
Note: if your slime feels hard at any point, add lotion, one half teaspoon at a time. Mix thoroughly between spoonfuls (you may only need one).
Step 11: Split your snow fizz slime into 3 equal parts.
Step 12: Add 1/4 teaspoon of the blue colorant to one part of the slime and mix it up with your hands until the slime is evenly colored.
Step 13: Add 1/4 teaspoon of the magenta colorant to the second part of the slime, and mix it up with your hands until the slime is evenly colored.
Step 14: Now you have 1 piece of blue slime, 1 piece of magenta slime, and 1 piece of white slime. Layer the 3 slimes into the jar however you’d like to create a fun design.
Step 15: Decorate to your heart’s content with the bingsu beads and charms!
Step 16: Don’t forget to name your slime! Write your slime’s name on the blank label on the side of your slime jar.
Step 17: Store your slime in the provided 8 oz jar. Always keep your slime in an airtight container when you’re not playing with it to prevent it from drying out so that it lasts as long as possible.
Step 18: Once you play with the layered slime and mix it up, it will turn into a nice purple color.
Enjoy!
