This is a very meaningful and emotional slime for us. Our Co-Founder lost her beautiful cousin, Alyssa Alhadeff, in the Parkland shooting tragedy. Alyssa was a vibrant, intelligent, loving soul who was also a star on the soccer field. Her number was always 8. Her mother, Lori, uses the phrase "Play for 8" as a reminder for others to live and enjoy life in honor of Alyssa.

Lori also founded a charity organization called Make Our Schools Safe, which helps provide safety protocols for schools. The profits of Play for 8 benefit the organization. To pay homage to Alyssa, this creamy butter slime is her favorite color - a light aqua teal - and scented strawberry, her favorite flavor. It is topped with soccer balls, naturally. 

Alyssa would have loved it. May we all Play for 8.
