May: Aquarium in a Jar

 How to Make Jelly Slime

 Please Gather:

  • 5 oz Elmer’s Clear Glue
  • Blue Colorant
  • Tropical Smoothie Scent
  • Snowonder Packet
  • Empty 8oz Jar With Blank Label
  • 1oz Slime Slip
  • Aquarium Charm Pack (Charms may vary from video)
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spoon or Spatula
  • Teaspoon Measuring Spoon (Please note: Smaller spoon used in video. The slime-maker in the video thought the small spoon would look cool, but it made the process more difficult. Please use an actual measuring spoon.)
  • Activator (Video Here)

Step 1: Make your activator (Video Here).

Step 2: Grab a mixing bowl, spoon or spatula, Slime Slip, a teaspoon measuring spoon, and the activator you made!

Step 3: Empty the entire bottle of Elmer’s clear glue into your empty bowl.

Step 4: Add 1 teaspoon of glycerin.

Step 5: (Optional) Add 2-3 drops of the tropical smoothie scent.

Step 6: Add 2-3 drops of the blue colorant.

        Step 7: Stir together.

Step 8: Add 1 teaspoon of activator.

        Step 9: Mix THOROUGHLY!

Step 10: Add another teaspoon of activator, mix again! At this point, the slime may look stringy and/or clumpy, That's okay! Trust the process and keep stirring as vigorously as possible. It may feel like it takes a while to fully incorporate, just stick with it!

Step 11: Add a third teaspoon of activator, mix thoroughly.

Step 12: Use 1 finger to test the slime and see if it is sticky.

Step 13: If it sticks to you, add another 1/2 teaspoon of activator.

        Step 14: Mix again.

Step 15: Continue adding until the slime is no longer sticky. Now you have clear slime!
Note: if your slime feels hard at this point, add glycerin one drop at a time. Mix thoroughly between drops, you
may only need one! (Only do this if it's hard)

Step 16: Put 2 teaspoons of dry Snowonder powder in a bowl. Add ¾ cup of water.

Step 17: Mix the snow into the slime until it starts to look like actual jelly! It should be holdable, and thick.

Step 18: Add more activator if necessary.

Step 19: Decorate to your heart’s content with the aquarium themed charms!

Step 20: Store your slime in the empty 8 oz jar. Always keep your slime in the air-tight container we provided so it lasts longer. You may need to re-activate slime as it will melt over time. All slimes do!

Step 21: Don’t forget to name your slime!

        Enjoy!

        xoxo
